hot eyeball planet is an amazing title! also, excellent job on the epic destruction of january. i don't think enough people have recognized how great an accomplishment not murdering is... so imma point it out: yay!
I just keep picturing this detective or cop coming around to question all of us and we have to reply with, "Well, she crossed no murdering off on her goal list... so ya, not her."
Good luck destroying February as well! And good luck with your move. I've moved around a LOT since I got married so I understand the UGH. (Though I also joked that the house only got a good spring clean because we moved every year....)

thanks everyone for the support! (both here and on discord. i appreciate you all and that's why i'm doing so well <3)
february has been good so far, seeing as how i'm almost at my goal for the month after 10 days. despite falling ill this weekend, i still wrote a decent amount friday - sunday and after a good dose of sudafed and wine (DON'T DO THIS PLEASE, I MAKE BAD CHOICES) i ALMOST (!!!!) beat FMM. literally 44 words short, lmao. i'm keeping it at a loss because its so damn hilarious. i was /pounding/ on my keyboard this last half hour to get the almost 1.5k i still needed. on the bright side, my KWIF characters can now communicate lol. (space travel problems.. thank god for the universal translator deus ex machina!)
coming up this week, i want to start the luddite challenge. since it's after midnight and i was planning on calling off work anyway (grr) i might make that tomorrow's goal.
writing • write 15,000 words (13,131 / 15,000) • write the prologue in the luddite challenge (0 / ?) • KWIF aka Hot Eyeball Planet (10,245 / 15,000) • finish Castle of Shattered Souls
ahh. so many words. i hit 50k for the year, which is pretty awesome, considering i just started again in november lol. i've also hit my monthly goal, and i've had to up my KWIF goal from 15k to 20k, and maybe more from there. who knew hot eyeball planet would be fun to write? it's decidedly lacking in the romance department so far, but that seems about right for me. but don't worry, it'll happen. soon. maybe. also, it's going to be a lot longer than i had originally intended and these two may show up at some point in the actual mech novel. depends on what happens. i wasn't planning on killing either of them, at least. ;D
we've been recently told that our new apartment won't be quite ready in early march like we were hoping, so i'm stuck with the literal bobcats (yes. i have the picture!!) and the awful commute for a few extra weeks. the worst part is just paying the extra $$ that comes with waiting. and you know, waiting.
writing • write 15,000 words (22,444 / 15,000) • write the prologue in the luddite challenge (0 / ?) • KWIF aka Hot Eyeball Planet (19,330 / 20,000) • finish Castle of Shattered Souls
this week was a fun one - i pretty much alternated between a 1k+ day and then just barely hitting my minimum. everything's been in the KWIF story so far, with a few exceptions when it comes to the planning of the mech novel its tied to. i'm afraid to report that the romance aspect of this story is still FAILING because i suck lol. but i have .. ideas .. for what's to come. (it involves being mean to my characters, as usual. though certainly not as awful as some of the books i've been reading recently. i need the warm fluffy romance and humor that is my writing .. for the most part)
i also finally started my luddite challenge novel! i've written a grand total of ... 1 page! and it was really hard to accomplish too, lol. so while it'll be slow going, i hope it will make me slow down and think a bit more about what i'm actually writing. one can hope, right?
