Well. It has already started. My husband bought me one of my Holy Grail fountain pens for Christmas. A Sailor Pro Gear Slim in Winter Camellia. Not sure what to put in it yet, but thinking this Platinum Cassis Black ink.
Since I'm new to fountain pens, I have a question about a problem I keep having.
In one of my new pens, the flow of the ink starts out heavy and the longer I write, the drier and scratchier it gets. I checked the converter tonight, and there seemed to be air in it, since the ink seemed stuck.
I've cleaned it a couple of times, my google searches seemed kinda unsuccessful and I'm at a loss as to what I'm doing wrong. Help?
