Well, here we go! and needed to be moved here, so I didn't lose access to them for bragging over 2021!
Also, just to let everyone know, I plan to still be working on the books I listed last year, but I will start with clean word counts. After all, the stories still need to be finished, and the end of the year coming doesn't change that. However, the thunder on the horizon I mentioned suggests I will be trying to get at least one of them done enough to consider publication some time in 2021.

I don't know, should I start something new again? It will only be added to the backlog of things which need to be worked on, and haven't gotten done because I have so many other things which need to be done too. Or should I just stick with something I know for now?

That means it will likely as not be another of the stories about Joanna and her family. That's okay, but I will probably still work on others in the same string over the course of the year. Except of course, for the challenges, that is. I expect there to be several which spawn all new stories over the course of the year; that happened last year, so what's t stop it being the same thing this year.

Hi guys! I have my new starting totals sheet set up and ready to go, and I'm already adding words to it for the month and the year. Now the next step is figuring out how to decorate my thread. But that may take time, so I hope people will be patient with me. I hope too, everyone had a safe and happy holidays so far, though you should know the holidays don't end for me until 2-14-21... *sigh*. After all, my anniversary is in a few days, and then Valentines Day, then my birthday... *sigh* again. Still so long before I will get to go hunting for mushrooms again! But I will be able to get more done this year, I hope, because of the head start I had made with having the starting totals sheet ready this early in the year. And this year will be busy, I forecast... After all, I still have my job at the ranch, and Robert will be going back to Wal-Mart in March...hopefully, anyway. We will be starting in the garden soon too, with the cotton being planted very soon, and a small mountain of carrot seeds, as well as a few dozen other kinds of seeds and starts. Well, we'll have to just see how things go, I guess, won't we?

Wow... it's already the day before the inauguration... hard to believe, isn't it? I guess that also means the month is almost over too... But the one thing I should mention before I lose my mind completely and forget what I came in here to say, I reached my yearly goal today. I reached 600k the day before Joe Biden was inaugurated as our 46th President.

Today, I should like to report that I reached a million words, but it wouldn't be true. I don't have quite that many yet, though I'm not far from it. I will have double my original goal by the middle of next month. But that doesn't mean I won't continue writing for the year. Just like last year, I will persevere until I get to my real goal, which is 3.6 million, or more, over the course of the year. My hubby thinks I can get to 7.2, but I don't know. I'm willing to give it a try, however. I know I didn't quite make it to 3.6 last year, but that doesn't mean I won't this year. All I have to do is to keep writing.
