Another art piece. Bunny ear cactus in watercolor with some paint pens. I really like these and will be doing more cactus and trying it with gouache.
Onto February goals!

Some not fun things on my goal list for February but things that are needed to be done and for the landscaper, I have been putting off for ages.
khelessindarae I am currently using a combo of Duolingo and Rosetta Stone. I have no secret, I'm afraid. If I can focus, I'll do a few lessons. If I can't, I don't or stop. I'm not putting any pressure on myself when I'm not doing so good health wise. Which is also why I haven't gotten that many words done so far this year. My brain just isn't working right.

Yay for the successes! The bright red fail is a bit sad *pats you* especially as you just said you're not doing great health wise. In that context you are doing damn amazing with the list because managing anything is an achievement! Be kind to yourself, you deserve it. I am very impressed with your language lessons, good for you! Cheering for you this month!

sometimes i find getting the not as fun stuff done and out of the way much more rewarding. like, it sucks in the moment, but then when it's done? HUGE relief. great work busting through and overcoming challenges to get things accomplished in january!
Whew. April was an exhausting month, tons of appointments and I did manage to squeeze in an eye exam and found out my auto immune issue is effecting my eyes already. Sigh. I'll need a follow up in six months and more than likely will be needing to see an ophthalmologist instead of a optometrist for the future. At least my Rx didn't change that much. Looking for positives here.
And why is it so damned hard to find a landscaper that listens to what I need and want? I'm going nuts trying to find (a non sketchy one). But I will not give up.
The artwork that I did in April. Yes, there's a theme. I love dogwoods, they are blooming right now and I love dogwoods. I used photographs that I took as the base and had fun with inks and watercolors.
Onto May goals.

Not as many appointments this month but the infusion ones are over two hours each so I'm hoping to get some writing done. We'll see though.
