Yearly goal: 200,000 words
Projects I will be working on:
MLIAF (New Adult Romance)
I am currently drafting this one. I am halfway through the first draft. My goal is to complete the first draft by the end of March, to edit it and to submit it to my publisher by the end of May.
FMN (Christmas Romance)
I am a bit above halfway through the first draft for this one. After completing FMN, I will continue to write this one. What will be tricky is the fact that I haven't been working on it for several months now. I was not confident enough to complete it, and now with a bit more of insight, I realize the structure is quite complex. I now know I can do it, though. It will not be easy, but I will get the job done.
TAL (Young Adult Romance)
This work is currently a 20K short story. My goal is to develop it in a novel after good review from my beta-readers. It will be my first time trying this exercise so I am a bit anxious but also looking forward to it. I know I am going to learn a lot.
A (Young Adult Fantasy)
A is an idea that I would like to plan in 2021. I really think the concept is worth it even if it is not a genre I am used to.
Several short stories for 2021 contests I have several contests I never miss so I am expecting to write at least four or five 2,5K short stories in 2021.
a lot of my focus this year is going to be on short fiction. not sure why / no reason for it... but that's what i'm feeling this year for some reason. good luck getting done and ready for publication by may!

erin Short stories are so much fun. I love how you can do all the steps of writing (plan, first draft, edit, submit, publish) in a short amount of time. I hope you will enjoy it this year as much as I do. Thank you for your good wishes!

Hi, I can't believe it is March already! Time is flying. I have been writing every day (even only a sentence) and I am still working on MLIAF (NA romance). I feel as if I miss only one day I will never have the motivation to write on this projet again. It is the first time I write so much on one novel. I sometimes feel a bit bored. Hope it doesn't mean readers will find it boring. I am using the Wriye excel sheet to track my progress and I love it, so thank you. January Goal: 20,000 words Written: 23,098 words February Goal: 20,000 words Written: 21,026 words
March Goal: 20,000 words Written: ?
Total words on the project = 81,432 words (currently wrapping up act two, act three still to plan).

Hi, I hope everyone is fine. This month, I met my word goal, but I didn't manage to finish the first draft of my romance as planned. I still have 4 chapters to write. I am a bit disappointed for not meeting my own deadline but also proud that I have been writing every day in 2021 so far.
March Goal: 20,000 words Written: 25,896 words
April Goals: 25,000 words Win Camp Nanowrimo Finish MLIAF (4 chapters to write) Keep my write-every-day streak
