February was such a waste, and I think it's because I was waiting on beta feedback and couldn't quite figure out what sort of direction to take on my revision. I've still got a couple things I'm waiting on, but I don't want March to go the same way as February--full of energy but nowhere to direct it.

So I'm going to go back to World's Edge, which I did for Nano 2019 and is at about 55K at the moment. It's the same world as the trilogy, so I'm not getting too far away from the Book One stuff and can switch as necessary.

I find that if my mental health isn't good enough to do anything, then no amount of "strategy or tactics" is going to change that. I'm just going to have a lousy time until it perks up again. That being said if you are in the frame of mind to do things then I would go for daily goals rather than weekly tbh. Each night before you go to bed I would decide what you are doing the following day. You can link that to weekly goals if it helps so that you can see more easily that by the end of the month it'll be finished, but sometimes a week is bad but that doesn't mean the whole month has to be.

I'm behind on camp, but still better than any other month this year. Progress! Or something.

Definitely doing better this month. I feel like I'm accomplishing things more regularly.

Good for you, Kandy!!! I too have struggled through Camp this time, and it felt weird, like the whole time, I was fighting with my self, my environment, and laziness in general, but blaming it all on life being in my way. And I felt the whole time as though I wasn't getting anything done, though I know I was, at least a little bit, if you see what I mean.

I didn't get 25K, but I did get 17K, which is more than every other month combined so far this year. It's nice to be making progress!

Last month before Summer Vacation, so nose to the grindstone and all that jazz. Wish me luck! I should especially focus on the class so I can get it recorded before there are children in the background.
