Everyone has that novel/story that just died. Maybe you weren't ready to write it. Maybe it was too ambitious. Maybe the main character needed a lobotomy and you didn't have an ice pick handy. Either way, it died and you haven't wanted to try and electrocute it back to life yet. This is your chance to get some voltage into those dead words! Here are the rules: - Find that story that you wrote that just died. Or just never came out right. Or just needs a complete overhaul. Take it out of the trunk if it has some chance at life. (If it's already decaying, find another. Even a thousand jolts can revive that.)
- Tell us the title and a short summary of the story.
- Tell us why you think it died -- or if you don't know, tell us what you want to improve.
- Choose how many words you want to get rewritten. And I am not talking about changing a few words around to make it sound better. Really dig deep into this novel, slice it to shreds, and rearrange its insides.
- Win!

It dead becouse I had to Many POV or at lest could not handle that many POV. So for this rewrite I going to try it out with only 2 pov and see if I like it beter that way. Also this is my first try at a mystery so I just may not be that good at writing mystery.

He loves the quiet, orderedness of the place. So when the gallery's director decides the best way to tackle the falling visitor rate is to host a dinosaur exhibition aimed at children, James is not happy at all. And less so when he bumps into the exhibit's organiser, Gayle Atkins. "Organiser" is an oxymoron - Gayle is a flurry of chaos, and far too cheery for James' liking. But when part of the exhibit goes missing, he can't stand by and let her be sacked and chooses to help her investigate the mystery. Why it died: I subbed the outline to a contest and was told the setting was "boring". I knew it was nonsense, but it still stole the joy from writing.
