I'm okay, for the most part. After all, I'm basically healthy, other than allergies, of course, and none of us have Covid in our house. I had to move my garden, but that isn't anything you guys want to hear about, this time. After all, it's just more of the same old drama. But I have had to take a brief break from writing to deal with it, so unfortunately, my resolution to write a little bit each day is blown all to... heck.

I know, I haven't posted anything here in more than two weeks. But I have been very busy during that time frame. I finally was able to get back to working on the task for my brother, and this meant getting to spend more time with him, which is all to the good, but I was also working on making things here at home too; things like violet syrup and rose syrup--among other kinds--and a big batch of homemade strawberry jam which I just finished tonight. Also, I have been able to harvest a few morels, so at least that has been going kind of right for me this year.
Well, most of the garden stuff is sorted out, though I have had some amazing news on that front; my little sister is moving into her new place the first part of next month. She told me tonight she is willing to play host to a garden space for me there, and my brother's boss has offered me space on his property, so now, I have something like five times the space I had to work with down here.
Which means I will get to have a lot more fun than when it was just down here. I mean, yes, my pots are mostly grouped around the two doors into my apartment, but they won't be for much longer; I'm shipping some of them up to my brother's place, and some to my sister. I will of course keep a few plants with me here, but nothing like what I had been working with. And I will have plenty of space to grow food for the three families who I will be working with; my brother's kids and of course, my brother; my brother's boss--it was a condition of being able to use the spaces up there; my family here, and my sister in her new place. But this is about the last people will hear about this situation. What people want to hear about here is how my writing is going--or not.
So from here, I will try to focus more on the words which are supposed to be my stock in trade.
I finally got another page done on my Luddite challenge this week, but it has been harder going than I thought it would be this year; so many interruptions! But I have well over 2 million words written toward my main goals, so I have made some progress, I guess. I just ran the numbers, and it comes to just a bit over 2.42 million so far this year. With my personal goal being in the vicinity of 7.2 million for the year, I'm falling behind, I know, even though I blew through my stated goal of 600k like it wasn't even there.
I have a slight problem, though. I still have no idea what I'm taking to Camp this time, though I'm pretty sure it will be one of the ones which don't involve my MC. I know the last one I did involved a pandemic which didn't kill everyone, but it was still set on my main world, so I might change things up this time; I don't know yet.
April is going to be a busy month for me, with working outside of the house and working inside the house on my writing, and I almost want something which I don't have to think too hard to work on, but at the same time, I want something which is gonna stretch me as a writer. But I don't know what topic to choose, if I go with something which will expand my repertoire. I mean, I know there are thousands of ideas out there; all I have to do is pick one and run with it. But which one?
I hope I will figure it out before the first of April, though I'm sure something will make it's presence felt by then.

Yeah, I know. I haven't been in here much this month so far. I have a few things going on which have kept me busy. My keyboard is acting up; refusing to accept that I have typed certain letters, or to capitalize the ones which need to be, and I have to go back and carefully retype everything the keyboard gets wrong, for one thing. For another, I have more garden space this season than I did last year, so of course, this translates into more work involved, which means more time spent on it. And of course, there is also the 'fun and games' involved with Camp for those who are participating...! Of course, on the first, I got my first Covid shot, and I have the second one coming up on the 22nd; but now, I find out there will have to be a 'booster' shot either every six months or once a year...!! So, yeah, things have been... unsettled for me this month. Which is about what I was expecting, if anyone was interested. But I do have interesting news, I may be able to publish again soon, though it's going to cost some money to do so. I will post more info here as I get it.

I need to get busy with my main writing projects; I have spent more time on my Camp stuff and my gardens than I really needed to, I would say. Not that anyone here noticed--everyone was more focused on their own writing, and rightly so. But with Camp ending today, I will be able to get back to my other stuff without worrying about it as much. Though I have noticed something odd; there is usually a verification window available for Campers from about the 20th of a Camp month, but this month, there isn't one, and this strikes me as odd. I know it is something based on the Honor system, but I find it mildly uncomfortable to not have my word count verified. But if it is a regular thing now, I'm sure I will get used to it, eventually.
