The Three Digit Challenge is a quick sprint with yourself where you take the last three digits of the count posted most recently in the thread and write that many words as quickly as possible.

I will start the thread off by sharing: 3,013 (the word count of the first document I opened).

Please remember to leave the last three digits of one of your current word counts. Be it your monthly WC, a novel WC, or what have you as long as it has at least 3 digits!

This was a fun one to get the day's writing started! 13 words may not be much, but that little bit of motivation got me going on a longer section of my current project.

The word count in my current document is 28,268.

I learned that, with my handwriting, 268 words is less than a full page of my notebook, but nearly there—which, of course, meant that I finished the page and then carried on, and a good number of words happened beyond that. I do admit, I kind of forgot the "as quickly as possible" part. I don't think I was particularly quick about it, but hey~
