Hi, I'm IchthusFish (or Ichthus / IF). Some of you might also know me as Nik. I'm a theatrical stage manager & occasional actor - and a writer & artist when Real Life doesn't conspire to get in the way.

After a difficult few years, I've decided to approach 2024 a little differently with less rigid goals. My wordcount goal is 50k, though that is flexible. My main aim is to do something creative every day - be that writing, art, or crafts.

Title: GILDED SHADOWS
Type: Bluesky microfiction, vss365
Genre: Fantasy
Themes: Adventure, quests, friendships, taverns, monsters, random craziness
Summary: Adventurers take on quests from their base in the Gilded Shadow tavern in Sennan - or maybe just get drunk and have bar brawls...
Goals: Write a sequential micro story using at least 265 #vss365 prompts this year, remember to actually post them to Bluesky

Title: SHADOW ANTHOLOGY
Type: Series
Genre: Sci-Fi / Fantasy Drama, with a side order of Humour thrown in.
Themes: blood feud, family, genetic memory, bio-forming, xenophobia, aliens (lots of aliens), sword-craft, mage-craft, war, survival
Summary: Generational Royal family blood feud, followed through time and space.
Goals: Continue full re-write

Title: AND THE STARS FULL OF SKY or THE LOST BUNNY FILES or [INSERT TITLE HERE]
Type: Short Story Collection
Genre: Sci-Fi (ATSFOS), Humour (TLBF), or Mixed Genres (ITH)
Goals: Decide on which collection to work on, edit, beta, write new short stories if needed, self publish a collection

Genre: Fanfic
Themes: tbd
Summary: I haven't written fanfic in years, but I feel like I want to try some again to see if it helps with my creativity or not. I don't really know which franchise, but possibilities include Star Trek Voyager, Star Trek Prodigy, or NCIS.
Goals: Just write something

I'm changing my goals around too, this year, in an attempt to be more productive. Here's hoping yours work out! They sound great (and please to be sharing any Trek fanfic, thank you very much).
